Dear Moja,
My sweet baby Moja, growing up in
the world is going to be tough, but know that I will be here with you every step of the way. In my 39 years of life I have lived and learned a lot. So today, let me share with you all that I have learned. First, love yourself before loving someone else. Fall in love with yourself. Love every single piece of it. Love the great things about you, the terrible, the beautiful, and the ugly. You'll never be truly happy in life if you don't love and accept yourself first. But don't be too proud, you must also think and love others. Help out and do good for others. Explore the world. Sweetie, I want you to travel and enjoy life. Experience the beauty of this world. Life is too short to waste it. Your experiences, good or bad, will be your greatest teacher. Remember also that life is not always just a bed of roses. When you fall, learn to stand up. You will be hurt but don't let it get you down. Everyone will experience the same thing. You must learn to weather the storm. These challenges you face will help shape and help you to become the better version of the beautiful you ! I wanna see you someday graduating from your dream school, UC Berkeley. I wanna see you doing your dream job and be successful. You can only do these things if you study hard, work hard, and value education.
There's always time for everything sweetie. Don't rush. Take time, one day at a time. Learn to appreciate all the things that you have been blessed with. Above all this, don't forget to pray, praise, and thank God. Always remember that mama loves you so much. My heart swells from the joy and happiness of having you. I may not be the perfect mother, but my heart loves you perfectly. I wish all the beautiful things in the world for you. No matter what happens, I will always be here for you ! I love you my baby ! No matter how old you become you will always be my baby moja.
Dear Mama,
There are not enough words and emotions in this world to express how much I am so thankful for you and how much I love you. Thank you for always being there for me since day one. Although I did not realize that till a few months ago, it makes me feel happy and loved, knowing that you will be here by my side every step of the way. There are so many times that I have messed up, made mistakes, done wrong, but you still love me anyways, help me get back up and guide me through everything. Although I must admit I give you a hard time, and even sometimes I refuse to listen, I love you very much. You put up with me even when I am very stubborn and love me even if I am not the perfect child.
I hope one day I can repay you back for everything. I want to work hard for you and make you proud. You are not only my mom, but also my best friend too. I love you so much mama and I am so thankful for you. There is no other mother that'd I'd rather have in this whole entire world.
