NICOLE FUERTEZ

Nicole Fuertez is currently a highschool student who is currently studying on developing and software engineering. Nicole was born in Pampanga, Philippines and moved to California at a young age. Her family and her started out iving with a relative in Bay Point, then a small apartment in Concord, and now currently lives in a house near the San Marco area. Growing up, Nicole was only fluent in her home language, tagalog, she struggled with many things academically, but by second grade, quickly adapted and is now a 4.0 student. Growing up as a child she was always quite the outgoing and talkative one, but now questions where her place is now. Going from an outgoing girl to a socially awkward person makes it hard to decipher what is going on around her now.

She is currently a freshman at Mount Diablo Highschool and is about to enter her sophomore year of highschool.

Nicole successes well in her academics. A 4.0 student who has never gotten a B letter grade or lower on her report card, always having the highest scores of the class. In middle school she was awarded with honor roll, award of excellence in English, and was a J.F.K finalist. During Nicole's freetime, she enjoys playing the violin, studying up on programming, watching anime, and playing video games.

When Nicole grows older, she would like to follow her dad's foot steps into becoming a developer/software engineer. She hopes to study at UC Berkeley one day and work at a big company like Google or Facebook. Not only does she want to be successful in her work field, she hopes to travel to Japan and experience the culture there which she loves very much. Nicole hopes to one day pay back everything her friends and family has done for her, for all the support, love, and patience they have graciously given.
